F.A. Seiberling Nature Realm

Over this past year, Akron’s Nature Realm has infused my life with a re-centering sort of magic in the light of its weeping pines, birdsong, and jasmine etched sanctuary. If you are seeking a space of friendly solace and open air to re-connect this is the place for you. As a photographer, I knew this little oasis would be a wonderful place to take pictures of the Bowling’s.

Some helpful pointers, if you are looking to come here: the realm is very walkable and accessible. The brick path guides you from the parking lot through the garden, various duck-filled ponds, welcoming visitor center, and for the more adventurous off-path hiker, links over a bridge into Sand Run’s hilly trails. There are public restrooms, plenty of benches to take rest, as well as picnic tables to enjoy a snack or book. One important note, no dogs are allowed in the nature realm if you are looking for a spot to bring your furry friend. Otherwise, this space is as beautiful as is peaceful in its diverse foot trails and sights. See more photos below ♡
